Nurture & Nature Preschool
Millbrae (2022)
I absolutely adore our kids’ preschool and wanted the energy on the outside to match the fun and excitement felt on the inside. This whole project was driven by me and installed pro bono, but I get warm fuzzies seeing it every day at drop off and pickup and bask in the compliments from the teachers, parents and kiddos!
Challenges
- Scaling the artboard to the right proportion in the design phase. I swear I measured it but the design ended up being about 10 ft short and I had to improvise the bits at the end!
- The slatted texture on the wall. Trying to paint a straight line through those ditches got old real fast.
